The Defender by Ana Huang is the second installment in her “Gods of the Game” sports-romance series. 
In this story, Vincent DuBois, the captain of the Blackcastle Football Club, finds himself embroiled in unexpected danger, and ends up sharing a flat with Brooklyn Armstrong — the daughter of his coach and his best friend’s infuriatingly confident ex-trainer.
